Java Republic Barista Foundations: 1-Day Course

Introducing our first Certified Barista course for passionate coffee enthusiasts ready to start their journey or refine their skills.

Course length: 1 day 

Timing: 9.30am - 3.30pm, Friday 24th October 2025

Total Participants per Course: 5 people

Location: Coffee Lab, Java Republic | Ballycoolin Café and Roastery, D15 PY8H 

What to bring: Our coffee lab is fully kitted with all the professional equipment you will need on the day for a hands on and practical experience. All you will need to bring is your enthusiasm for coffee. 

What you'll learn:

• Introduction to Coffee from Farm to Cup

• A tour of our Dublin Roastery

• Introduction to Equipment (Grinders and Traditional Barista Machines)

• Grind and Dose Calibration

• Introduction to Café Drinks Menu

• Learn how to steam milk and create latte art… and much more!

At the end of the day, you'll walk away with new skills, a deeper appreciation for coffee, a personalised Java Republic Certificate to commemorate your journey and of course your very own goodie bag!
