Refreshing Java Republic Ice-Drink Recipes to Make at Home this Summer
Iced Chai
Ingredients:
• 1 cup of ice
• 15ml Routin Chai Syrup
• Still water or sparkling water
• Optional Garnish: A small slice of lemon
Instructions:
1. Fill your glass generously with ice.
2. Add 2 pumps 15ml of Chai Syrup directly over the ice. Top up the glass with chilled still water or sparkling water. Stir gently and garnish with a small slice of lemon (optional) for a bright, citrus finish.
Classic Iced Latte
Ingredients:
- 1 double shot of fresh espresso (or 60ml of strong brewed coffee/Moka pot coffee) using Java Republic Mestizo Blend
- 150ml milk of your choice (oat OR whole milk work brilliantly here!)
- 1 cup of ice cubes
- Optional: Add a drizzle of one of our at-home size Routin syrups in your favourite flavour!
Instructions:
1. Brew 60ml of Mestizo coffee and let it rest for 1 minute to cool slightly.
2. Fill a tall glass to the brim with fresh ice.
3. Pour your choice of milk over the ice until the glass is about 3/4 full.
4. Slowly pour the Mestizo shot over the top to create those picture-perfect coffee layers. Stir well and enjoy!
Iced Wild Berry Iced Tea
Ingredients:
- 1 Java Republic Wild Berry Tea Pillow (or 1 tbsp loose leaf tea)
- 150ml freshly boiled water
- 100ml chilled still or sparkling water
- Fresh raspberries or blueberries (optional for garnish)
- 1 cup of ice
Instructions:
1. Steep the Wild Berry tea pillows in 150ml of freshly boiled water for 5 minutes to create a concentrated brew. Remove the tea pillow and allow to cool completely.
2. Fill a glass with ice and toss in a few fresh berries.
3. Pour the cooled berry tea over the ice, then top off with chilled sparkling water for a refreshing fizz and enjoy!
Cool Mint & Lemon Verbena Iced Tea
Ingredients:
- 1 Java Republic Mint & Lemon Verbena Tea Pillow
- 200ml freshly boiled water
- 1 tsp honey or agave nectar (optional, to balance the citrus notes)
- Lemon slices & fresh mint leaves (optional to garnish)
- 1 cup of ice
Instructions:
1. Steep the tea pillow in boiled water for 5 minutes. Stir in the honey or agave while the tea is warm to dissolve fully.
2. Allow the tea to cool down.
3. Fill your glass with plenty of ice and fresh lemon slices and some mint leave (optional).
4. Pour the cooled tea over the ice, stir, and enjoy.
