About The Farm & Process :
Clarke Farm is billed as an eco-friendly farm and coffee estate. Dr Ian Clarke, has lived in Uganda for 35 years and wants to impact more than his sphere. The farm is deep in the village and provides employment for at least 600 people. The vast majority of these people are local men and women who are also subsistence farmers.
Cherries here are grown by outpickers and brought to the Clarke farm for processing after an initial floatation to remove underripes. Cherries are lightly pulped and dried on raised beds under the sun.
